About us
Care inspired by real-world healthcare experience and a personal understanding of the need for support.
Our story
At StoneHouse Home Care Services, we believe quality care goes beyond meeting everyday needs. It is about preserving dignity, promoting independence, and helping people navigate unexpected challenges with confidence.
With over 15 years of experience in healthcare, our founder developed a deep appreciation for dependable, person-centred support. After relocating to Alberta, our founder became concerned about adults whose needs may not fit within traditional seniors' care services.
A personal experience recovering from an injury brought these challenges into sharper focus. Managing daily responsibilities while physically limited showed how difficult it can be to find practical assistance during recovery.
That experience helped shape StoneHouse's purpose: support for adults recovering from injuries, people living with disabilities, and seniors who want to remain as independent as possible.
To provide compassionate, reliable, personalized home care and recovery support that promotes dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life.
To become a trusted community-based provider of home care and recovery support, helping adults live with greater confidence.
Compassion, respect, dignity, inclusion, dependability, accountability, and person-centred care.
Our approach
We aim to understand individual priorities, agree on appropriate services, communicate clearly, and coordinate staff whose qualifications match the work required.
All services depend on a review of needs, staffing, available competencies, and agreed care arrangements. Clinical nursing services are not advertised as part of the initial offering.
Care should recognize the person, not just their circumstances.
